Intention Words for Organisations

A one-day, coaching-led reflective workshop for teams and leaders.

Most organisations don’t struggle to name their values.
They struggle to live them.

Words are declared, printed, and shared, yet remain disconnected from how decisions are made, how people relate, or how work is actually experienced day to day. Culture becomes something that is stated, rather than felt.

This one-day workshop offers a different approach.

Intention Words for Organisations is a facilitated, coaching-led reflective day designed to help teams and leaders orient around meaning, rather than slogans. Instead of asking what values an organisation claims, the work explores how people want to move, decide, and work together in practice.

This workshop extends the principles and practices explored in my Intention Words workbook, adapting them for collective, organisational settings.

This is not a productivity intervention.
It is a pause for orientation.

What the day focuses on

Across the workshop, participants are invited to:

  • explore intention as a lived practice, not a performance

  • surface the gap between stated values and daily experience

  • identify a shared intention word (or words) to guide the season ahead

  • reflect on how that word can be embodied in decisions, behaviours, and ways of working

The day blends reflective exercises, facilitated dialogue, and coaching-led inquiry, creating space for both individual insight and collective meaning-making.

Who this workshop is for

This work is particularly suited to:

  • leadership teams navigating change, growth, or transition

  • organisations recovering from burnout, disruption, or misalignment

  • values-led or creative teams seeking language that genuinely reflects how they work

  • leaders interested in humane, ethical, and sustainable approaches to culture

What this workshop is, and what it is not

This workshop is:

  • reflective rather than performative

  • structured, but not rigid

  • grounded in lived experience, not aspirational branding

  • designed to support alignment that continues beyond the day

This workshop is not:

  • a motivational away-day

  • a rebranding exercise

  • a productivity or optimisation tool

  • a one-size-fits-all solution

Practicalities

This is a one-day, in-person workshop, shaped collaboratively in conversation with the organisation. Care is taken to honour context, culture, and readiness, rather than imposing a fixed format.

Enquiries

If you’re interested in exploring whether this workshop might be a fit for your organisation, you’re welcome to get in touch by emailing partnerships@rbccmnq.com.

In your email, it’s helpful (though not essential) to include:

  • a few words about your organisation or team

  • what’s prompting the enquiry at this moment

  • who the workshop would be for (e.g. leadership team, department, mixed group)

  • any specific questions or curiosities you’re holding

There’s no need to have everything figured out. This is simply a starting point for conversation.
