Loss doesn’t wait for convenient moments. It walks with your team into meetings, deadlines, and inboxes—quietly shaping performance, presence, and connection. Supporting your people through grief and trauma isn’t just compassionate leadership—it’s culture work.

GROUP COACHING: Holding Grief at Work

A one-day, immersive group coaching experience exploring and processing loss in professional and personal life.

Grief is a workplace issue. And it’s costing more than we think.

Grief isn’t just a personal matter or a healthcare concern—it’s an economic one. In the UK alone, grief-related presenteeism and absenteeism cost the economy an estimated £23 billion in lost Gross Value Added (GVA) every year.* And that figure only reflects bereavement-specific grief.

We grieve more than just death. We grieve identity shifts, burnout, restructures, redundancies, estranged relationships, lost dreams, and quiet disappointments that accumulate silently within the workplace. When grief is unacknowledged, it doesn’t disappear—it disrupts.

I offer a one-day, immersive group coaching experience that gently but powerfully explores loss and grief in both professional and personal contexts.

This session blends grief psycho-education with reflective coaching practices, creating a spacious and safe container for employees to begin or deepen their healing journey. Although delivered in a group format, the work is tender, inward-facing, and honours individual privacy. The majority of exercises are designed for personal reflection and integration.

By the end of our time together, your team will:

  • Understand what grief truly is—and what it is not;

  • Recognise the diverse ways grief manifests in life and work;

  • Gain practical tools to manage personal grief in healthy, sustainable ways;

  • Be equipped to create a grief-informed culture within your organisation;

  • Feel more confident supporting grieving colleagues with compassion and care.

Session Details:

  • Delivery: In-person (currently London only) or live via Zoom

  • Group Size: Up to 30 delegates

  • Who It’s For: Suitable for all levels—from senior leadership to entry-level team members

  • Investment: £5,000 + VAT (+£75 per additional delegate – maximum 50)

If you’re ready to cultivate a grief-aware workplace that honours the whole human experience, email groupcoaching@rbccmnq.com to express your interest. We’ll set up a call to explore your organisation’s specific needs.

Who I Coach

I partner with committed anti-racist businesses and organisations that are actively looking to diversify their Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) portfolio with culturally competent mental health support.

I offer coaching at all levels, including founders and C-suite executives and senior executives (executive coaching), managers, team members and interns.

Given the relational nature of my work, I only partner with a select few businesses per year.

How I Coach

I’m available on a 6-month retainer of pooled hours where I’ll coach either a mixed group of team members, e.g. co-founders respectively, individuals within your leadership team or a department; and/or your wider business.

I’m also available to provide support for specific individuals within your company.

Where I Coach

I mainly coach via Zoom but also offer in-person sessions. I can come to your office, but for the client’s ease, I often recommend they experiences coaching away from the work environment. I’ll invite you to my coaching venue in West London.

The sessions with Rebecca-Monique were fantastic from the chemistry call right to the end. I’m not someone who quickly or easily feels at ease with new people, but Rebecca-Monique was warm, empathetic and understanding throughout and I felt I was able to open up pretty immediately...
Having such holistic coaching has been beneficial to my personal life and the company.

What I Coach

Popular coaching areas I help team members with include:

  • Trauma, including racial trauma;

  • Grief, loss and bereavement;

  • Anxiety and stress;

  • Depression;

  • Confidence and self-esteem;

  • Imposter Syndrome;

  • Burnout;

  • Emotional intelligence: communication, self-awareness, empathy, emotional regulation;

  • Motivation and productivity;

  • Return from maternity/ paternity leave;

  • Transitioning and settling into promotions/ demotions/ new roles / working structures (e.g. remote working).

I’m not a performance coach, so if business goal setting, targets and performance management (or “managing out”) is what you’re after, I won’t be a suitable match.

Coaching Fee

6-month coaching retainer to provide support to members of your business at every level (individual contributors to C-suite): £30,000+VAT.

I’m also open to talking through customised offerings that specifically meet the needs of both your people and business.

If you’re looking to reward team members, I also offer gift vouchers.

Be sure to check out the About Rebecca-Monique page for more information about my work and background, credentials, testimonials and FAQs.
